Frequently asked questions

How do I cancel or manage my Levia subscription?

Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Levia. There you can switch plans or cancel — your access continues until the current period ends. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge. Levia has no accounts, so there is nothing else to close.

How do I restore my purchase on a new iPhone?

Install Levia, open its settings, and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you subscribed with — your premium access returns immediately. Your journal itself moves via an encrypted backup you can create and import under Settings → Data.

How do I back up or export my journal?

In Levia, go to Settings → Data. Create an encrypted backup protected by a password only you know (AES-GCM, key derived with PBKDF2 at 600,000 iterations), or export your journal as PDF or Markdown at any time. Without your password, a backup file stays unreadable.

How do I delete my journal or my data?

Your journal lives only on your device — there is no server copy and no account. Deleting the app deletes your data, unless you keep a backup you created yourself. If you joined the launch waitlist, email us and we will remove your address immediately.

What do I need to run Levia?

Levia runs on iPhone with iOS 26 or later. On-device AI requires an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence — iPhone 15 Pro or newer. On other devices Levia includes an offline reflective companion, and you can optionally enable private cloud AI; it stays off by default.

How quickly do you answer support emails?

Email leviajournal@gmail.com and we usually reply within one to two business days. Levia is built by a small team in Switzerland, so answers come from the people who actually make the app.

Can I get a refund?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so refunds go through Apple: visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, and select your Levia purchase. Apple decides refunds under its own policies — we cannot issue them directly. If something is broken, email us too; we want to fix it.

In a crisis

Levia is not a medical or therapeutic service. In an acute emergency, please contact your local emergency number (911 in the US, 112 in Europe). For someone to talk to: in the US, call or text 988; elsewhere you'll find local helplines at findahelpline.com.

More about who builds Levia on our About page — or read our journaling guides.
